1. When did you start watching?
I don't remember. Given that I always knew what the TARDIS was, what the Daleks were, who Ace was and that the Doctor was Sylvester McCoy, I probably watched some as a child, but I don't remember. The first one I remember seeing was the Comic Relief special, which probably doesn't count. After that there was the TV Movie on Doctor Who night, and the BBC showed Spearhead from Space, Silurians and Genesis of the Daleks, the latter of which made no impression on me at all.
1a. Why?
The ones that I saw at uni were because I kept hoping the BBC would repeat it so I could see some. And they rarely did. They still rarely do - apart from the new series which is on every day.

3. Which episodes have you seen?
All but 17 and a third. Which are two Second Doctor ones, the whole of Trial of a Time Lord, and most of the Fourth Doctor and Romana II, and the Fourth Doctor episodes after Romana.

Ark in Space, The Romans, Carnival of Monsters, The Green Death, Black Orchid.
4. Are your friends/family interested in the show?
My parents both watched as children and watch now. My sister borrows the new series DVDs off me. And there is anyone in the country who doesn't watch it?

Jon Pertwee.

I don't like the Eighth Doctor in the books much. And I have trouble with Five because he's Tristan.

Ace. Closely followed by (in no particular order) Harry, Jo, Ian, Barbara and Steven

I could never get that excited about any of the Fifth Doctor's companions.

Yes - I buy all the Seven & Ace ones when they come out, and I also have the UNIT ones, Sarah Jane Smith ones, the first series of Bernice Summerfield, and various other ones.

Yes, I met Lis Sladen, I see Peter Davison in the theatre, and Sylvester McCoy has played the spoons on my knee. If you're counting guest stars then I've met quite a few who have been regulars in The Bill
14a. Travelled to any filming locations?
Yes, but not because they were in Doctor Who. I've been to Winspit Quarry because it was in Blakes 7 (and a very good place for a waterfight). I've been through the village where they filmed The Android Invasion because my sat nav thought it was the best way to get to the motorway (it isn't, but then neither is following the signs a good way). The Invasion was filmed over there *points out lounge window* although before they built a housing estate on it. I've been to Cardiff, both before they filmed there, and more recently because I'm on the crew organising the Rotaract National Conference there in 2009. And I've been to London, of course.
15. What do you think of The Curse of Fatal Death?
Better than canon.
16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?
I don't ship the Doctor at all, which is quite rare. Also that the Daleks are sweet, not scary.

Harry/Sarah, although also Ian/Barbara, Sarah/Will, Harry/Martha
18. What pairing(s) won't you touch with a really long pole?
Seven/Ace. It just feels wrong. As does Three/Jo.
