(I haven't posted a Never Seen Star Wars post for July yet because everything stops for Wimbledon. I'll post one in a fortnight.) I wrote some fic! I started a Librarians fic a while ago because I realised that I wanted to write more Flynn and Cassandra friendship. And because I have post-ep fics for... Continue reading

Science geeks in media
This is sort of the opposite to my last post. I've been listening to Big Finish's UNIT box set and it just annoyed me as the episodes went on. I know lots of people like Osgood, but I've never been that much of a fan. One of my problems is her asthma, which is never... Continue reading
Tennis (and a bit of Doctor Who)
I say things, it's going to be mostly tennis, let's be fair. This weekend is the sort of time we're used to seeing Davis Cup matches. What usually happens is we lose in the first round of the World Group in March, then play in September to try and get back in the World Group.... Continue reading
Doctor Who anniversary aka Australia
Today is the 10th anniversary of New Who. Or for me, it tells me it was ten years ago that I went to Australia (where did the time go?). The fact that there's been no way I could get on a plane for the past six years that makes it more poignant. I left on... Continue reading
Long weekend
I was just going to do a catch-up on the past couple of weeks (summary: really busy at work, plus Worldcon, but I am feeling better at least) but couldn't muster up the energy, so I won't. I'll summarise this weekend instead: Gardening. I have filled up the garden waste bin and another six bin... Continue reading
Bunny!
Yesterday I posted about how I wasn't excited about the Doctor Who 50th anniversary yet. This evening I watched the BBC Breakfast thing about Saturday's episodes and one minute in there was a scene with a rabbit in. And a lop eared one too. Now I'm excited.
Various things
I suddenly look prolific this month, but in fact I only wrote one thing and it's only 600 words. Lose a Boyfriend, Gain a Degree, which is Rachel and Allison (from Counter-Measures)'s first meeting (if you define that as having an actual conversation). I still hate the title, but it took me longer to come... Continue reading
Books
I have read a few books recently that I decided I wanted to talk about:
Windmills and Doctor Who
As often happens when something big goes on in Doctor Who, I wasn't around for the big announcement - I spent the weekend in a windmill. Which as fun except that I was looking forward to my sister having kids because I could enjoy the good bits and not get involved in bodily fluids, screaming... Continue reading
Various things
There are a few things I thought about talking about, but none of them really merit a whole post, so this is a post of little bits. Diana Rigg is on Doctor Who next week! I am very excited. I might have to get my Avengers DVDs out and work out which episodes I haven't... Continue reading
