Holiday

I've just got back from my holiday to Edinburgh. Which I enjoyed. It's just a pity it's a long way away. It's a nice city, small enough to walk around, pretty and friendly people. And a castle. Most of my photos are either of the castle, views of the city from the castle or views... Continue reading

Holiday

I have been on holiday! It's partly been a holiday from work and partly an actual going away holiday. I went to London. Which is more expensive than going for the day (involving hotels and Oyster cards) but means getting to places earlier in the day and being able to go out at night without... Continue reading

Holiday

I have really needed this holiday, as I thought I would. I have discovered that it is actually possible to sleep past 6.30am. Manchester

I've just been up to Manchester for two-thirds of the weekend. I got up early on Saturday to beat the bank holiday/start of half term rush, spent the morning on trains, went round Manchester in the rain in the afternoon, then spent this afternoon on trains, to return to lovely sunshine. And this morning I... Continue reading

Manor Farm

Another weekend, another trip out, this time to Manor Farm, which was the farm they filmed Wartime Farm at. It had a whole load of animals, including some noisy sheep and two ugly turkeys displaying at one of the females, who didn't pay either of the males any attention at all. I got to stroke...
